There was a sudden plan of a small get together, and HE, one of my best friends since nursery was invited too! We hadn’t met for a while. A shake hand and a smile was enough from my side but a bit more from his. I decided to get a Devil’s Own for myself and he asked for the same. I wondered why he ordered the same as me! The get together concluded on a happy note. Later, all of my friends told me that HE was there just to see me. HE skipped his CCE just because he wanted to be with me. HE loves me since 8th class is what my friends told me. They said HE
loves me a lot but never tried to tell me as he didn’t want to interfere between me and my boyfriend. All HE wanted was to see me happy. HE never loved anyone else and still wishes to be with me. I feel super blessed to be loved by someone like him. Only a few get such people in their life and I’m one of them. But at the same time i feel super unlucky because I can’t
have him in my life and I can’t love him back. Maybe I’m not supposed to :(

A relaxing coffee on a hot day!

 It was a hot summer day and I was completely tired and thirsty. I saw the newly
opened Cafe Coffee Day outlet and decided to try it. I entered the shop
and saw a board that read ‘Self Service’. I opened the menu and searched
for some cold coffee, there was a photo of a tall glass of cold coffee with
chocolate sauce, coffee beans and whipped cream sprinkled over it -it
was titled ‘Devil’s Own’! I ordered it and also ordered grilled Veg cheese
sandwich. All I want to say is that it was divine.  Even though I was alone, I was enjoying every bit of it and believe me the ‘Devil’s Own’ is a must have. It is drenched
with chocolate sauce and topped up with some whipped cream and coffee
beans. Best of all, it tastes like coffee and not a milkshake. It is neither
too milky nor too heavy on the stomach. I actually craved more of
this coffee preparation on finishing my tall glass of the brew. All
in all, if you want to spend about a hundred bucks on coffee you
won’t be dissatisfied if you choose the ‘Devil’s Own’ at CCD. You can also read
books here and have a great coffee excuse!

She was my first love! I had my first date was with her at CCD. After a lot of sneaking about, I finally got her to come out with me. It was one of the best days of my life :) ) not to forget that my friends were there too, who teased me a lot!!  I still remember it every time I sit at the couch in the corner. I’ll never forget the guys at CCD who gave me the best coffee I’ve EVER had – one with her name on it! She was my first love! I had my first date was with her at CCD. Love Story!

It was 2005. Me and my hubby met online and started chatting online. After chatting a lot, Sarabjeet (My hubby) decided that it was about time we met personally. I stayed at Thane and invited him to the CCD outlet in Panchpakhadi .  After much chatting and talking on phone, the moment had finally arrived.  I have a slight problem with my leg and he being  a tall, dark and handsome Punjabi guy, never worried about finding a match that would be seen as his equal.  In fact, it was that he who was very much interested in marrying me right after meeting at CCD. However, his family had problems with him marrying me as the problem with my leg was seen as a deciding factor. But Sarabjeet always used to say ‘A Lot Can Happen Over Coffee.’  He willed me to believe in those words and stay strong.  And like he said, those beautiful words came true in the year 2008. We are now happily married and are blessed with a son.

Studies, but I have some other reasons to be there ;)

I had called her and asked me to join me at the CCD , reason behind calling her was different but I told her that we can study there, so she agreed quickly. It was the Navlakha, Indore CCD where I met her, the store was about 8km away. Also, I did not have conveyance but I somehow arranged for the vehicle and reached there. She was already there at the first floor of the store, she was looking as gorgeous. Like she was meant for me.

 

We studied for some time and then were chatting for a while. This is a good policy of CCD that here no one comes to disturb. As she had a vast ocean of her talks, so i was just speech less, I was just watching her and listening to her.

 

Don’t really know what she thinks of me but I have some serious feelings for and it’s unfortunate that I cannot express them to her as she is committed. But I’m really thankful to CCD that  I was able to listen her and see her and spend time with her.

My crush, he asked me out for a date. He was my childhood friend. It was the same CCD where we usually used to meet. The feeling with him on the date was just amazing. We loved the aroma of the steaming Coffee! It was raining out, our EYES talked more than we did! The choco delite pastry was soothing!! Ahhhhhhhhh, we still remember the day. It was 31st AUGUST, a wednesday. Whenever we pass by the place, we revive lovely memories  and we enter by holding hands as COUPLE, still the same table at the corner.

CCD has many unforgettable memories of my life. I studied in SIES Sion for 5 years and best memories will be from CCD. I would visit CCD with a group of 9 other friends and we would spend the whole day there. We used to bunk our classes and if we mad plans, CCD would be our main destination. And one more good memory is my love started to bloom here. I believe in the words “A lot can happen over coffee.”

I have been to CCD several times whether I’m in my town or out of town. I somehow always happened to always to go to CCD. Since the day I entered college my favourite place to go has been CCD. My friends say it is my second home. Even if I’m running out of cash I never say No to CCD!! I hang-out a lot with my friends over there. We always sit at the centre table in front of the cash register.

 

I never ever will give up going CCD!!! My friends always know to cheer me up the best is CCD!!!!
